2nd at Phillip Island race by 0.009 of a second

Front row for the first race at Phillip Island
February 26th, 2011

I feel pretty confident with our race set-up so we’ll see what we can do in the race. It is pretty clear what we want to do with the tyre situation already. It is good to be home racing, flying the flag for Australia in Supersport.

We found some positive directions and the bike felt really good, so we stuck in a new tyre and went for a fast lap. I am not sure if the grip this afternoon was as high as this morning but maybe at the end, when I did my lap, it was OK. I am ready for the weekend and we ...   Read more...
