Points finish in 12th for Jerez World Superbike race 2 after tyre problem in race 1
October 20th, 2013
11th place qualification, 18th and 12th place finishes at Jerez riding the number 70 Monster Energy Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YART) World Endurance R1: "We came here with the Endurance bike and we knew it wasn't going to be enough, we always wanted to score points, a top 10 would've been a bonus. First race the tyre spun on the rim so we lost a lot. Second race we changed a few things to try and fix it and we scored points so I'm pretty happy. Second race I was 8th on the first lap and having a bit of a go so that felt good." Click here for the full video.

11th place start for the final World Superbike round at Jerez
October 19th, 2013
Here we are in Jerez for the final round of the World Superbikes we’re doing a wildcard here with my YART Yamaha team that I’ve been doing World Endurance with this year. We had a really good Superpole we ended up 11th. It was much better than our expectations as the spec of my bike is not the same as the World Superbikes its more like what we use in World Endurance. So top 15 and made Superpole, we actually made 2nd Superpole and missed the top 8 by a very small margin, it was less than one tenth so I’m really happy. Tomorrow’s race is going to be long, its quite warm here, I’m not sure what we’re going to be able to do in the race its going to be quite difficult, our electronics package is well below the factory spec lets see what we can do tomorrow. I’d just like to thank the team, Mandy and everyone for helping me make this happen so let’s go out there and get into it. Click here to see the full video. Full gallery here

Thoughts on winning the Australian FX Superbike Championship
October 7th, 2013
My year started a little slow, but the last few rounds have gone really well and I’m proud to have won this championship. I have really enjoyed racing in Australia again and the YRT crew have been fantastic to work with. It’s great to be a part of a team that really wants to win. I also want to congratulate Rick (Olsen) and Kevin (Curtain) for their efforts this year and racing with them has been a lot of fun as both are such great competitors. Our race bikes have been in great shape all year and Kevin Marshall, John Redding and everyone that does the long hours behind the scenes all deserve to be a part of this championship.
